Our company was established in 1924 (Taisho 13) by Ryoichi Kato. We started supplying oil products to Toyoda Spinning and Weaving Co., Ltd. (now Toyota Boshoku Co., Ltd.) and rapidly expanded our business relationships with companies associated with the Toyota Group. During the pre-war period, we were entrusted with the exclusive responsibility of supplying oil under the government’s price control system. Notably, we played a critical role in supporting Toyota Motor Corporation’s growth, continuing deliveries during the Toyota labor dispute when other oil companies withdrew.
Today, we have transformed our business focus, concentrating on real estate development in metropolitan Tokyo while also seizing new opportunities for business expansion in Niigata. Since our founding, we have consistently adapted to changing domestic and global circumstances, embracing technological advancements and operational flexibility to continuously evolve as a firm.
Moreover, I have a strong personal interest in providing high-quality international education for young people in Japan and fostering the development of global talent. Although we are a medium-sized enterprise, we maintain a global perspective in our ventures and beyond. We proactively face challenges, carefully assess risks, and demonstrate the courage to make bold investments.

Yusuke SuzukiBorn in Akabane, Tokyo in 1984, Yusuke Suzuki grew up in Moriya City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and later moved to Matsumoto, Nagano upon entering Shinshu University. In 2013, he founded BODY ART DESIGN, a training gym in Matsumoto, and in 2022 opened B.A.D. TOKYO, a personal studio in Shinagawa, Tokyo. Today, he divides his time between Tokyo and Matsumoto, while traveling nationwide to promote strength training, sports, and healthy living.
